Homeless to Harvard
I thought the movie was really good. I liked how it showed us all her troubles through her whole life and how she kept her head held high. I don't know about anyone else, but the movie didn't really make me pity her that much because I don't really think she was asking for anyone's pity. Instead of looking for everybody's pity, she would always look forward. I guess you could say she would kind of look at the bright side of things because she knew life couldn't really get any worse. What I really liked about the movie was Elizabeth's determination. Although her life was horrible for so long and she became homeless by the time she was 15, she got her life together and did what none of us would even think was possible. We all struggle with maintaining A's through our 4 years of high school. However, not only was she an A student, but she was top of her class and completed all of her high school credits in half the time we do.

yes I agree with the fact that she wasn't feeling sorry for herself didn't really make yourself as a viewer feel sorry either. She was very independent and she finally kicked in gear and got her life back on track on her own.
ReplyDeleteI also thought the movie was good. I liked how it showed us her problems as well. She was really determined to create a life for herself.
