Jobs (Showbiz Theater)
I already have a job. I work at CiCi's. It is a very easy job because all I have to is make sure the salad bar is fully stocked and neat, same for the pizza buffet, and make sure all the napkins are filled. It is actually pretty fun because all of my coworkers are nice and funny. However, if I had to do a different job, I would work at the Showbiz movie theater in Waxahachie. I think it would be perfect for someone my age because that is also an easy place to work at. All you would do for a while is clean the theater, but over time you would be able to do several different jobs. There is the cleaning crew, which I already talked about. Then there is the person who sells the tickets which I heard was actually really boring. There is also the person who collects the tickets. I feel like this job would not be too bad. Then there is the concession stand, I'm sure that one would just keep you very busy. There are also a few other jobs, but those are the main ones. I think it would be perfect because you won't always be doing the same thing and get bored with it as easily. Being teenagers and all, I would really enjoy the free movies. You would get in for free with one friend, and your family of four. I think that these employee benefits would definitely make it all worth it.

Homeless to Harvard
I thought the movie was really good. I liked how it showed us all her troubles through her whole life and how she kept her head held high. I don't know about anyone else, but the movie didn't really make me pity her that much because I don't really think she was asking for anyone's pity. Instead of looking for everybody's pity, she would always look forward. I guess you could say she would kind of look at the bright side of things because she knew life couldn't really get any worse. What I really liked about the movie was Elizabeth's determination. Although her life was horrible for so long and she became homeless by the time she was 15, she got her life together and did what none of us would even think was possible. We all struggle with maintaining A's through our 4 years of high school. However, not only was she an A student, but she was top of her class and completed all of her high school credits in half the time we do.
